Halton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, treatment, and consultation services for dysphagia and communication disorders to a mixed adult population.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with dysphagia and communication disorders.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, including video fluoroscopic studies.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in the field of speech language pathology.
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology and registration with the College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario.
- Experience in assessment and treatment of dysphagia, including video fluoroscopic studies.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing demands.
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record.

Hours: Monday to Sunday, primarily days, 8:00-16:00 (subject to change based on operational needs).
