Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, treatment, and consultation services for patients with dysphagia and communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with dysphagia and communication disorders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, including swallowing assessments and video fluoroscopic studies.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology and registration with the College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario.
  • Experience in assessment and treatment of dysphagia, including video fluoroscopic studies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility to meet the changing demands of a mixed caseload and multiple sites.
