Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize returns and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
