Senior Project Manager Opportunity

MyGreat Recruitment Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead administrative projects for a General Contractor based in Nanaimo, BC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Administer contracts and ensure compliance
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and resource allocation plans
  • Plan and control project budgets and forecasts
  • Coordinate project closeout and document control
  • Oversee logistics and procurement processes
  • Lead subcontractor selection and management

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as a project manager
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering/Technology, or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven safety record and knowledge of safety-focused practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with lump sum contracts
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and resource loading
  • Experience managing high-voltage energy generation and transmission projects
