Advanced NDT Technician

IRISNDT Corp. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced NDT Technician to join our Advanced Services Department in a full-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) inspections on diverse equipment and structures;
  • Analyzing PAUT/TOFD inspection data and generating comprehensive inspection reports;
  • Collaborating with various teams, including operations and maintenance, to address challenges and complete projects efficiently;
  • Keeping abreast of industry best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory standards relevant to PAUT/TOFD inspections;
  • Staying informed about the latest advancements in PAUT/TOFD inspection technologies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following certifications and experience:

  • Certification in PAUT/TOFD and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in NDT inspections;
  • Thorough understanding of PAUT/TOFD inspection techniques and methodologies;
  • Proficient in interpreting and analyzing PAUT/TOFD inspection data to produce detailed reports;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Safety Protocols:

  • Steel-toe boots are mandatory; additional personal protective equipment will be provided by IRISNDT.

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications, with health benefits provided after a probationary period. Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. All candidates must complete a pre-employment fitness assessment and drug screening.
