About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as Head of International Expansion Video Strategy and Go-To-Market. This new role will report directly to the Director, WW Video Go-To-Market and be the IX leader for developing the unified go-to-market strategy and strategic execution for advertising solutions across Amazon video and streaming properties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive International Expansion Vision: Develop and execute the international expansion vision, value proposition, programs, planning, and packaging solutions to grow our video GTM approach across all video properties.
  2. Grow Video Advertising Adoption: Drive adoption of Amazon's video advertising offerings, including business management in support of Video org goals around revenue, product adoption, advertiser maturity advancement, etc.
  3. Develop End-to-End Strategy: Develop the IX end-to-end strategy for positioning, pricing, packaging, and planning of Amazon's STV advertising offerings, alongside sales, product, sponsorships, and strategy peers.
  4. Aggregate VOC and Partner with Product Teams: Aggregate VOC and partner with product teams to drive video solutions for customers and growth for Amazon; produce stack-ranked set of sales priorities, and influence requirements, roadmap decisions and trade-offs.
  5. Partner with Product, Sponsorships, & Ads Marketing: Partner with Product, Sponsorships, & Ads Marketing on Video Sales and Marketing narratives.
  6. Customize Macro Strategy: Customize the macro strategy to each sales vertical within the IX Amazon Ads team.
  7. Contribute to Trading Agreement Process: Contribute to the IX Trading Agreement process for Amazon, as well as all similar annual processes as they relate to Video. Drive sales enablement of both current and new products & capabilities.
  8. Lead and Develop a Team: Hire, develop and lead a team of Video strategy and GTM leads.
Requirements
  1. 10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience.
  2. Strategic Thinking: Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent.
  3. Business Acumen: Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent.
  4. Sales Strategy Experience: 10+ in sales strategy, business development, product management, digital media strategy/GTM at a media & entertainment company.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Senior Stakeholder Management: Experience in previous roles managing relationships with senior stakeholders including: Product leaders, Sales, Account Management, Finance and Marketing.
  2. Digital Media Landscape: Extensive knowledge of digital media landscape, video advertising, and AdTech (e.g., Identity resolution, DSPs, programmatic media, premium digital video, performance advertising).
  3. GTM Strategy Experience: Experience building and deploying GTM strategies, with an emphasis on packaging, positioning and messaging.
  4. Results-Oriented: Experience dealing with results, metrics and data management and a desire to create and build new processes.
  5. Analytical Skills: Possess analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses.
  6. Excellent Communication: Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), including the ability to present complex topics both in person, over the phone, and through concise document writing.
