Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Indigenous community interactions and programming, including maintaining Indigenous to industry relations, business alignments, documentation, and facilitating cultural training.
  • Manage the master Indigenous contacts database, lead various community engagement initiatives and activities, and coordinate community sponsorship opportunities and event attendance across Graham business units and project teams.
  • Engage and consult regularly across the Indigenous community within the region to support growth and knowledge sharing across the unceded lands in which Graham delivers projects.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma training program at a College or technical school, or University degree is required.
  • Equivalent experience and community-based knowledge will be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in the field of Indigenous or community relations, business development, or project management.
  • Demonstrated Indigenous peoples cultural and business awareness, experience working with communities in Western Canada, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various community members to build lasting relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute effective community engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience working with people in cross-cultural settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet firm deadlines with minimal supervision; proven capacity to be a self-starter.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and strong personal motivation.
  • Familiarity with the CCIB PAR and IPC programs.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and current communication platforms.
Compensation
  • $92,700 - $120,000
  • Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
