Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical control systems, programming PLCs, and troubleshooting electrical systems. You will work collaboratively with other engineers, electricians, and project leads to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical control systems using AutoCAD
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs
  • Troubleshoot electrical system problems and provide technical support to maintenance and production teams
  • Identify and implement new technologies to enhance the design and delivery of electrical control systems
  • Provide technical training to electricians
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers, electricians, and project leads to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Follow all GMP, Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental Standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and their practical application
  • Experience working with electrical systems, components, and devices in design and/or manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency with PLC/HMI software, including Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, FactoryTalk View, Siemens SIMATIC STEP 7, TIA Portal, WinCC, Omron Sysmac Studio, Mitsubishi GX Developer, ABB RobotStudio, PickMaster, Fanuc TP Programming Language, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory codes, and best practices, including understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Good communication and interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
  • Availability to work on-call after hours to support operations
  • AutoCAD proficiency
