Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Magna. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling front and rear seat complete assemblies, as well as sub-assemblies, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble front and rear seat complete assemblies and sub-assemblies using various hand tools and fixtures.
- Clean and maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Perform tear-downs and repairs as required.
- Restock work areas and maintain inventory levels.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new assembly processes and procedures.
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure high-quality products.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Ability to follow oral instructions and work independently.
- Prior experience in a production environment and use of hand tools.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be 18 years old.
