Job Overview
As a Construction Site Supervisor specializing in civil or electrical engineering, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of electrical equipment projects within hydroelectric facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in hydroelectric power plants;
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines and technical specifications;
- Review and validate engineering plans and specifications;
- Conduct quality assessments of contractor work;
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports;
- Address and manage non-conformance issues;
- Guarantee that all systems are defect-free prior to commissioning;
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or civil engineering or equivalent professional experience;
- Proven experience in project oversight, particularly in electrical and civil engineering sectors;
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle;
- Strong proficiency in French and competent computer skills;
- Valid construction safety certification;
- Training with Hydro-Québec is considered an asset;
