About the Role

FNX-INNOV is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential technical support to Site Managers and Supervisors throughout the construction process of a new 300-25KV substation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Offer expert guidance to Site Managers and Supervisors, assisting them from initial project planning stages through site closure.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between the construction site and our Design & Implementation Team (DIT), ensuring adherence to defined roles and responsibilities.
  • Meticulously monitor the execution of construction work, verifying compliance with approved plans and specifications.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the project by thoroughly understanding contractual documents and promptly reporting any discrepancies or potential issues.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource on-site, providing clear guidance and resolving technical challenges.
  • Coordinate site activities effectively and manage contract administration processes.
  • Participate in line departure work to ensure accurate construction alignment.

Your Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Be a registered member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec as an Engineer.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar technical construction role.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with electrical work on-site (an asset).
  • Have knowledge of substations, lines, and/or power plants (an asset).
  • Be proficient in using computer tools and MS Office software.
  • Hold a valid driver's license (class 5).
  • Exhibit strong written and spoken French language skills.
