Job Overview

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience in welding.

Work Environment

Our work site may include exposure to odours and requires a strong ability to handle various tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications accurately.
  • Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding machinery.
  • Examine welds to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Utilize brakes, shears, and other metal shaping equipment.
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components.
  • Assess the weldability of different materials.
  • Operate welding machines to fabricate or repair metal products.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance on welding equipment.
Materials Used

The primary material for welding tasks will be stainless steel.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

Experience

Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in welding.
