About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Operator to join our team at Sable Metal Fabrication Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, examining welds, and ensuring they meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc welding machines, brazing machines, and gas welding machines.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Perform tasks such as fitting, braze, and torch-straightening metal.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) and determine weldability of materials.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
