Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operations at the site level, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The successful candidate will provide input on performance evaluations, assist with implementing new security initiatives, and lead by example to establish a safe and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide input for team member performance objectives and evaluations
  • Mentor, coach, and train front-line security staff on best practices
  • Verify security timesheets and monitor internal and external violations
  • Document and report potential hazards, suspicious persons, and activities
  • Enroll guests in the Self-Exclusion Program and oversee crowd control for special events
  • Administer and maintain critical security systems, including Key Control and surveillance equipment
  • Review surveillance files, report issues, and enforce restricted access
  • Conduct regular patrols, identify risks, and provide or assist with First Aid
  • Tag and report found property, transfer to Lost and Found, and respond to security issues
  • Liaise with operational departments, develop strong working relationships, and ensure compliance with licensing laws and regulations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years security experience in a gaming environment, with supervisory experience an asset
  • Must be willing to recertify every 3 years for Use of Force
  • Occupational First Aid level 2 an asset
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
Work Environment

This role requires working in a regular casino environment, with standing and walking for long periods, some elements of danger, and exposure to noise and non-traditional work hours.
