We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Protection and Operations Advisor to join our team at Rona Inc. As an Asset Protection and Operations Advisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the Asset Protection and Operations department's procedures to minimize loss and maintain a safe working and shopping environment in our stores.
Key Responsibilities- Asset Protection and Operations Oversight: Provide guidance and support to store managers and teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to asset protection and operations.
- Loss Prevention and Risk Management: Analyze risks in stores and develop strategies to prevent losses, including internal theft, external theft, and operational errors.
- Training and Development: Train associates on how to control shrinkage and provide constructive feedback and mentoring on asset protection and health and safety.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate incidents and report findings to store management teams and other stakeholders as required.
- Collaboration and Communication: Partner with store associates, management teams, and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration to achieve business objectives.
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Analyze performance indicators associated with losses, expenses, and safety for stores under your responsibility and make recommendations to improve performance.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in asset protection and operations in the retail industry.
- Education: College or university degree in a related field (e.g., business, criminology, security management).
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with IT tools.
- Certifications: Regular license from the Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP Security Guarding) and investigation license.
