Role Responsibilities:

The Executive Director will:

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic planning for the School.
  • Oversee academic administration and ensure the achievement of educational and research objectives.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement.
  • Develop partnerships with health organizations and government entities.
  • Promote initiatives related to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) and decolonization.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A PhD or equivalent in Health and Exercise Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Experience in academic leadership and a strong record of scholarly achievement.
  • A commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with Indigenous communities and advance decolonization efforts.
Position Details:

This is a renewable 5-year term position, with the expectation of a full-time appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor with tenure.
