**Job Summary**
Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Adhere to Safety Protocols**: Follow all work instructions and safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment, to maintain a safe work environment.
- **Equipment Setup and Maintenance**: Set up and maintain auxiliary equipment, including conveyors, tables, decoration, and lidding equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
- **Collaboration and Support**: Assist the mold setup team and perform preventative maintenance on secondary equipment to ensure seamless operations.
- **Safety and Quality**: Follow all safety rules and procedures, including the Lockout/Tagout program, housekeeping, and 5S standards, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- **Additional Responsibilities**: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the team's goals and objectives.
**Requirements:**
- **Mechanical Aptitude**: Must be mechanically able and have experience in an industrial environment.
- **Teamwork and Communication**: Be able to work in a team concept environment and possess good communication skills.
- **Troubleshooting**: Must have a background in troubleshooting industrial equipment problems.
- **Computer Literacy**: Must be computer literate and able to navigate various systems.
- **Time Management**: Must demonstrate ability to manage time, projects, and problem-solving sessions effectively.
- **Flexibility**: Must be able to work flexible hours and be available on a 24-hour clock periodically.
- **Safety Mindset**: Must have a safety attitude and mindset, and a thorough understanding of quality measurements.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
- **Experience with Stores Management and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems**: Experience with stores management and computerized maintenance management systems is a plus.
