Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

MILESTONES GRILL & BAR is seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of staff performance, inventory, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
