Job Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of multiple retail locations within the Northern Ontario Region. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of recruitment and staffing, as well as scheduling and payroll responsibilities. Regular travel (up to 50% of the time) is essential to perform store evaluations and ensure compliance with national operational standards. Reporting directly to the Divisional Manager, you will deliver consistent business updates, including insights on volume, revenue, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the company. The role may require evening and weekend work as necessary.

Note: This is a permanent, full-time role, and work hours will be determined by business requirements. Candidates should be prepared for significant travel responsibilities across various locations.

Key Responsibilities

We seek a dynamic leader with strong multitasking abilities and exceptional coaching and relationship-building skills.

  • Oversee staffing and recruitment processes for all Retail, SRR, and Clerical Operations Support.
  • Manage talent development, recruitment retention, and training initiatives across the region.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with national operational standards, including:
    • Inventory management.
    • Store cleanliness.
    • Adherence to brand standards.
    • Equipment assessments.
  • Administer the store's budget to maintain accuracy in the General Ledger.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the Divisional Retail Manager as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze volume, revenue, and Retail KPIs.
  • Conduct competitive analysis as required.
  • Provide leadership and support to the Retail team through development, training, and the Attendance Awareness Program.
  • Participate in management meetings as necessary.
  • Assist with regional territory management, including training, information dissemination, customer inquiries, and acting as an Operations liaison for various partners.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
  • Three to five years of management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage remote locations and teams.
  • Experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Decisive and proactive self-starter.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
