Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Manager

The Diagnostic Imaging Manager plays a crucial role in the success of the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre's Imaging Department. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring that all imaging services are provided in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and reduce wait times
  • Manage and monitor departmental budgets and resources
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of imaging professionals
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and best practices
Requirements:
  • Registered with a recognized college or association (CMRTO, CARDUP)
  • Baccalaureate preparation in a health-related field (essential); Master's level preferred
  • 3-5 years of current progressive experience in an acute care setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

As a Regional Health Centre, our operations run 24/7. Depending on the program for which you are applying, it may be an expectation that you are available to work weekdays and weekends, as well as all shifts - days, evenings, and nights.
