As a Dosimetrist IIA, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in Radiation Oncology treatment, machines/equipment, and procedures commonly used in Radiation Therapy and Brachytherapy. Your experience and technical knowledge will be instrumental in developing the delivery plan for radiation treatments, selecting radiation energy and other treatment parameters for the approval of the Radiation Oncologist.
Key Requirements- Bachelor's degree of Science in Radiation Therapy or completion of Medical Radiation Therapy diploma and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification, or equivalent.
- Six (6) months of experience in a radiation therapy department.
- Current working expertise in 3D conformal planning, simple VMAT planning, Complex (SBRT) VMAT planning and brachytherapy.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work closely with our dedicated Radiation Therapists, Radiation Oncologists, and Medical Physicists to deliver specialized treatment planning for our valued patients. You will have the opportunity to participate in the department's brachytherapy program and contribute to the development of treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy.
