This position requires expertise in data analysis, aggregation, and reporting to effectively manage extensive datasets provided by contractors. The insights generated are vital for project planning and stakeholder communication, emphasizing the importance of precision and meticulousness in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in the formulation of processes for analyzing project data to ensure compliance with all relevant project requirements while maintaining high standards of data integrity and quality for reporting and mapping.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ascertain data needs and develop thorough documentation, including data mapping and process flows for data shared with external entities.
  • Assisting teams in data validation efforts to guarantee the accuracy and dependability of project data.
  • Conducting quality assessments to confirm data quality, consistency, and accuracy, while reporting discrepancies to project teams and working collaboratively to resolve them.
  • Tracking data currency and producing reports or visualizations as requested by project teams and stakeholders.
  • Supporting project teams by ensuring that report parameters are precise and beneficial for informed decision-making.
  • Performing quality assurance on reports to validate accurate data processing.
  • Delivering presentations of reports to stakeholders and teams, effectively communicating findings while elucidating data processes and system functionalities.
  • Proposing enhancements for reporting practices.
  • Executing additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    A Bachelor's degree in computer science, commerce, statistics, science, or related fields where data management and analysis are key components.
  • Experience:
    • Over five years of experience in a data analyst capacity.
    • At least three years of experience supporting project teams.
    • Proficient in dashboard reporting and data visualization techniques.
    • Extensive experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, along with familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS Online and/or Portal.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to foster positive working relationships across all organizational levels and with contractors.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.
    • Effective written communication skills for documentation purposes.
    • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet various deadlines.
    • Flexibility to adapt work schedules to accommodate project demands and urgent requests.
    • Quick learner, adaptable to changes in processes, systems, or technologies.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and questioning skills.
    • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities for data management and knowledgeable in database design principles and SQL.
    • Experienced in managing, manipulating, and presenting large datasets.
    • Well-versed in data quality processes, validation, and aggregation techniques.
  • Security Clearance:
    Eligibility for Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), requiring a minimum of three years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, or the United Kingdom.
