Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Insurance Sales Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing leads, scheduling appointments, and identifying customer needs to market appropriate products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate new business leads and expand existing relationships.
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Marketing and Sales: Work with our agent to establish and meet marketing goals, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners through effective written, verbal, and listening communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Sales Experience: 1+ year of sales experience in a related field, preferably in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • License: Property & Casualty license (preferred) or ability to obtain.
