The Opportunity

Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. is seeking experienced underground miners to join our Paste Crew at the Hemlo Operations in Marathon, ON.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and monitor pasting operations underground.
  • Comply with all safety and standard operating procedures.
  • Install paste, water, air, and pump pipes.
  • Install paste bulk-heads, pumps, and reticulation.
  • Check dump valves and inspect pipe networks for leaks and damage.
  • Assist the Service crew with ventilation duct installation.
  • Operate various service and auxiliary equipment underground.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in Paste or Service Crews in underground mining.
  • Ontario Hard Rock Mining Common Core.
  • Ability to prioritize and problem solve.
  • Commitment to working safely while ensuring the safety of others.
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
