Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Gardens at Qualicum Beach.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring patients' progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patients' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions
  • Consult with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Geriatrics experience an asset
  • Criminal record check, immunization records, and tuberculosis test required
  • Health care plan and other benefits as per collective agreement
Work Environment:

The Gardens at Qualicum Beach is a nursing home/home for the aged, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for our residents.
