We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at UPSCALE TECHOFY INC. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.
Educational Requirements- Completion of College or CEGEP education in a relevant field.
- Position based at the head office.
- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation.
- Maintain and balance various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries accurately.
- Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
- Prepare trial balances of books.
- Reconcile various accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable functions.
- Conduct bank reconciliations.
- Establish work priorities, ensuring adherence to procedures and deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong skills in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- This is a permanent position.
- Work language: English.
- Expected working hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
