About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join our team at Victoria Newitt Recruitment Inc. As a key member of our marketing and ecommerce team, you will be responsible for overseeing the three main company sites to improve site conversion and provide customers with a best-in-class site experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the product catalogue to ensure product listings are accurate and informative.
  • Execute brand, category, or product features across the site, including new product launches, sale events, and collection highlights.
  • Partner with the content generation team to ensure site content is engaging, informative, and accurate.
  • Improve site usability by optimizing customer navigation, including site taxonomy, search, and filters.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve SEO in coordination with the content and technology teams.
  • Analyze site performance, user behavior, and run A/B tests to increase conversion and improve the customer experience.
  • Partner with the UX and technology teams to identify and implement short- and medium-term site improvements/feature rollouts.
  • Own the process for soliciting and displaying customer reviews.
  • Define unique experiences for homeowner customer segments versus industry professionals.
  • Be a leader, coach, and mentor for your team.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on ecommerce trends.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of direct ecommerce experience, with an understanding of user experience, site operations, and merchandising.
  • Experience using various CMS and PIMS.
  • Deep understanding of site performance metrics and analytical tools, including Google Analytics.
  • Experience with HTML and CSS.
  • Understanding of strategies and tactics to improve SEO.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms, including Google Optimize and Unbounce.
  • Rock-solid analytics skills alongside the ability to create insights and stories with data.
  • Experience working with technology and UX teams.
  • Team management experience preferred.
  • Customer-first mindset.

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with grit, determination, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
