In the role of IT Procurement Specialist at Hatch, you will oversee the management of software acquisitions, compliance, maintenance renewals, life cycle planning, and cost analysis.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that the business's requirements for ongoing technical support and upgrade protection on selected products are met by managing maintenance, support, and upgrade renewals proactively.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings in renewals, software licensing, and services, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams to realize these savings.
- Managing contracts and vendor relationships to optimize value and reduce costs associated with software licensing, maintenance, and service offerings.
- Gathering data for budgeting, software compliance, inventory management, contract summaries, and cost comparisons.
- Maintaining a comprehensive database to track budgeting, software compliance, inventory, contracts, and associated costs.
- Assisting in the creation of reports to fulfill management's informational needs.
- Responding to inquiries from end users, managers, developers, and team members regarding specific IT Software Asset Management data.
