We are seeking a skilled Cloud Software Developer to join our team at Guidewire Software. As a Cloud Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based software applications using 12-factor app methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-based software applications using Java, Golang, NodeJS, Python, and equivalent frameworks and languages.
- Deploy containerized applications to AWS through Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment.
- Work with highly skilled team members, operations team, product managers, and architects to write code, mentor one another, and build infrastructure and software that matters.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure quality, scalability, availability, and security in the code.
- Develop automated testing to protect products and ensure their quality.
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Math, or equivalent level of proven professional proficiency.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Comfort working in an agile, social, and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in an office-based position with flexibility to work from home as applicable.
