About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Supervisor to join our team at Portfolio Contracting Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of various carpentry projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpentry teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including materials used, labor hours, and any issues encountered.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement methods to improve efficiency and productivity on construction sites.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field, with a focus on supervision or project management.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
