Job Summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Diesel Technician to join our team at an underground mining site in Northern Manitoba. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty mining equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy-duty mining equipment, including Cummins engines and related systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and component inspections.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and address equipment issues, providing expert technical guidance and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Cummins products and technologies, participating in training and development programs as needed.
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.

Requirements

  • Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician certification
  • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution
  • Current relevant electrical certification (optional)
  • Locally valid driving permit
