About the Role
Pacific Community Resources Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Worker to join our team. As a Housing Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families in need of housing assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide housing support services to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks and connecting them with community resources.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure comprehensive support services are provided to clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in housing support.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Experience working in a housing support or social services role an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
