Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Prime Time Donair & Poutine. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Lead and direct the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Recruit and Hire Staff

Recruit and hire qualified food service staff, ensuring we have the right people in place to deliver exceptional customer service.

Ensure Quality Control

Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring it meets our high quality standards.

Manage Budget and Reports

Prepare and manage budgets, as well as submit regular reports to management, providing insights into department performance.

Address Customer Concerns

Respond to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into department performance.

Prepare Food Order Summaries

Prepare and submit food order summaries to the chef, ensuring they have the necessary information to manage kitchen operations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Personal Suitability

Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Work Language

English.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
