About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Aim Therapy & Wellness Centre Inc. as a key member of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
    • Select and administer appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to promote optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical and progress reports to track patient progress and inform treatment decisions.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Education and Training
    • Develop and implement educational programs to teach patients and their families about physical rehabilitation and wellness strategies.
    • Supervise and mentor students and new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain current certifications, such as the Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination.
    • Obtain and maintain licensure by provincial or territorial authorities as required.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and industry developments to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
    • Experience
      • At least 1 month of experience in a private practice setting or a related healthcare environment.
    • Skills and Abilities
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Work Environment
      • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
