Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Leader to join our team at our Ottawa location. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising plans to drive sales and enhance the customer experience
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, stockroom organization, and cash handling
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and develop strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment that promotes diversity and respect
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail leadership role, preferably in a similar size team and/or store volume
  • Proven track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
