Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team at Auberge du Pommier. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, setup, and maintenance of event spaces
  • Possess a strong knowledge of event menu items
  • Respond promptly to guest requests in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
  • Deliver food and beverage to the appropriate tables as directed by the Management team
  • Clear plates, cutlery, and glasses from the tables and return them to the dish area
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards
  • Adhere to all O&B health and safety standards
  • Additional duties as assigned or required
  • Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, wine, and event functions and services
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems
  • Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in event management, hospitality, or similar field and/or experience serving in a similar environment
  • Smart Serve Certification a requirement
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
  • Available to work evenings, nights, and weekends
