Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Helper to join our team at Wendy's Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food items to order, including portioning and wrapping food
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and replenish condiments and supplies
  • Package take-out food and serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work surfaces, and handle and store cleaning products
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean and prepare foodstuffs
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Food Service Helper, you will be working in a team environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Language

English is the primary language spoken in our restaurant, and we require all staff to be proficient in English.

Hours and Work Term

We offer a permanent work term with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on business needs.
