Job Summary

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafeteria, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a cafeteria environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
