Job Title: Head Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Land Yoga and Cafe Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu planning and kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and train a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes to enhance our menu offerings.
  • Ensure that all food meets our high quality standards and is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
  • Plan menus and ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Recruit and hire staff to join our culinary team.
  • Supervise and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve our culinary goals.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Cook Trade Certification and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
