Job Title: Medical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer - Vancouver Centre. As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a critical role in providing quality cancer care to our patients.

About the Role:

This is a locum temporary full-time position with four positions available. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced Medical Oncologists and contribute to the development of clinical excellence and academia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality cancer care to patients with lung/head & neck and/or gastrointestinal malignancies
  • Support the activities of the Vancouver Medical Oncology Program and the UBC Medical Oncology Training Program
  • Teach postgraduate trainees and undergraduate medical students
  • Contribute to clinical research and education
Requirements:
  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
  • Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
  • Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Meet the requirements of credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer
  • Eligible for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia
