The Role

We're seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to collaborate with our team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality code, building exciting products and features, and fostering best practices like automated testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using TypeScript, Node, and Apollo GraphQL
  • Develop web-based interfaces and reusable interface components with TypeScript and React
  • Lead by example, mentor junior developers, and contribute to a microservices architecture
  • Plan and implement solutions to complex problems, ensuring high-quality code and efficient solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
Requirements
  • Expertise in backend development, including data, APIs, queues, security, scalable systems, and business logic
  • Demonstrated ability to build full-stack web projects with cutting-edge technologies and complex business logic
  • Mastery of programming principles and one or two programming languages, with a keen interest in expanding skills to new languages and technologies
  • Strong experience in TypeScript, GraphQL, and cloud-based infrastructure, with a plus for AWS
  • Familiarity with different types of data stores and databases, preferably beyond SQL databases
  • Experience working with bigger teams and projects that span multiple teams
