Position Overview

As a Graphics Technician at Make My Design Inc., you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality visual content. This position requires a blend of technical skills and artistic talent to create stunning graphics that meet client specifications.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a related field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize hand lettering techniques to produce unique artworks.
  • Enhance digitized images through advanced retouching systems and graphic software.
  • Scan and mount photographs for various projects.
  • Design and layout pages for print and digital media.
  • Create stencil patterns for artistic applications.
  • Set type for printing purposes.
  • Develop project designs that align with client needs.
  • Coordinate the printing and publication processes for projects.
  • Digitize images and refine them using specialized software.
  • Execute layout and page makeup based on provided conceptual mock-ups.
  • Generate computerized images and drawings that meet project requirements.
  • Review and follow the instructions provided by graphic designers.
Technical Proficiencies
  • Proficient in Adobe Freehand
  • Experienced with Adobe Photoshop
  • Familiar with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe After Effects
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring 30 hours per week of commitment. The primary work language is English.
