As a Graphic Arts Technician at Printocraft, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality printed materials. Your expertise will contribute to the overall visual appeal and functionality of our print projects.
Educational Requirements- Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Equivalent experience may also be considered.
You will be working in a dynamic printing shop, collaborating with a team of creative professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Mount and scan photographs to prepare them for production.
- Design and layout pages for various print materials.
- Create stencil patterns for printing processes.
- Set type for printing projects accurately.
- Coordinate project printing and publication tasks.
- Digitize images using advanced peripherals and enhance them with specialized software.
- Execute layout and page make-up based on provided conceptual mock-ups.
- Produce high-quality computerized images and drawings.
- Review and follow the graphic designer's instructions meticulously.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to distinguish between different colors is required.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
We are looking for candidates with 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience. This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary working language will be English.
