Job Description

Global Functions Technology (GFT) is a division of RBC's Technology and Operations group. Our impact is far-reaching as we design, develop, and deliver innovative technology solutions to support the bank's business objectives.

We are looking for a skilled QE Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality software applications. As a QE Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated testing frameworks using industry-leading tools and technologies
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Develop and maintain test data and environments to support automated testing
  • Identify and report defects and work with development teams to resolve issues

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing
  • Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium, TestNG)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
