Laymoon Restaurant & Cafe is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, and draw up production schedules as needed.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Dependability, judgement, and reliability.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
