We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Golden Life Management Corporation. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also leading and mentoring our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Mentor Nursing Staff: Provide guidance and support to our nursing team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care to our residents.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Work with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Provide Direct Care: Provide direct nursing care to our residents, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and providing emotional support.
- Coordinate Resident Care: Coordinate the care of our residents, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the highest level of care possible.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements:
- Current LPN Registration: Must be currently registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Experience in Long-Term Care: Must have experience working in long-term care or a related field.
- Strong Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting.
