Nurse Practitioner

The Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team at the Invermere District Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care in a variety of clinical settings.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver client-centered care.
- Ensure the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.
- Demonstrate a specialized body of knowledge and base practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
This is a casual opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Shifts may be scheduled days, evenings, and nights, rotating between 07:00 to 19:00, 10:00 to 22:00, and 19:00 to 07:00 hours. The hourly rate will be $41.42 to $55.91 per hour, effective April 1, 2024.
About the LocationThe Invermere & District Hospital is located in the heart of Invermere on Lake Windermere and has 8 acute care beds, 1 Labour & Delivery room, a cast room, and 36 residential beds. The Emergency Room has 12 stretchers and a 2-bay trauma room. The facility is walking distance to all 3 medical clinics and the retail/shopping district of the community, and both public beaches.
