About the Role

Ambient Mechanical Ltd. is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, preparing pre-qualification submissions, and reading blueprints to determine work requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including labour and material costs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, engineers, architects, and contractors.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
