Position Summary:

We are currently in search of proficient Journeyman Powerline Technicians to enhance our workforce. Ideal candidates will be self-driven, collaborative, and committed individuals ready to contribute to a vibrant team that plays a vital role in supporting Valard's projects.

Job Details:

  • Shift Pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off in Cochrane, ON
  • Compensation Structure: 40 hours at straight time, 10 hours at overtime, and 20 hours at double time (subject to adjustments)
  • Accommodation: Camp facilities provided
  • Training: Ontario-specific training available if necessary

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Red Seal certification as a Journeyman Powerline Technician, preferably local to the area.
  • Minimum DZ license required; AZ license is preferred.
  • Experience in the maintenance and construction of distribution lines, with a strong ability to adhere to instructions and procedures.
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
  • Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Foreman or senior team members.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
