Electrical Line Specialist

Valard Construction LP is a leading powerline contractor that serves both public and private sectors. Our company specializes in the construction of overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems, substations, fiber optics, as well as substation and transmission foundations.
We are seeking qualified Electrical Line Specialists to join our team. We require self-motivated individuals who can work as part of a dynamic team and provide crucial support to our projects.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position starts at $87,500 per year, with opportunities for overtime pay. A 7/7 shift schedule applies in Cochrane, ON. Camp accommodations are provided, and Ontario-specific training will be offered if required.
Job Requirements- Qualified Red Seal Journeymen Powerline Technicians, local to Timmins, are preferred.
- A DZ license is mandatory, while an AZ license is given preference.
- Candidates must have experience in maintenance and construction of distribution lines, as well as the ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Safety orientation is essential.
- Additional duties may be assigned by the Foreman or Senior Valard Team member.
- A positive attitude and good work ethic are required.
